Mike is a passionate believer in immuno-oncology and cell therapy as the evolution of medicine and building the next generation of biotech funding. Prior experience in checkpoint research, gene edited iPSCs, CAR-T and exploratory immuno-oncology. Also experienced in building, leading and developing drug programs and teams. Mike has held positions at GC therapeutics, Ginkgo Bioworks, Editas Medicine and Novartis. He holds a B.S. in Biocheistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Ph.D. in cell biology from the University of California, San Francisco. He completed his post doc at Dana Farer Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School.
