Nareg Djabrayan

Grants and Academic Partnerships Lead

Nareg Djabrayan holds a PhD in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. As a researcher, he investigated the genetic and molecular mechanisms that govern early development, publishing nine peer-reviewed papers in journals including Current Biology, Genes & Development, and Cell Reports. This work advanced the field of developmental and integrative genomics, deepening understanding of how gene regulatory networks drive the earliest stages of life.

With a strong foundation in molecular biology, genomics, and translational science, Nareg went on to postdoctoral fellowships at IRB Barcelona (as an NSF PRFB fellow) and Princeton's Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics, followed by a faculty appointment at Clark University. His path has since carried him from academic research into biotech industry leadership. As the Grants and Academic Partnerships lead, Nareg specializes in developing partnerships with academic research institutions and guiding non-dilutive funding strategy for Biovergence and its affiliates.
