Reto is a financial regulatory lawyer advising global financial institutions, fintech companies and digital asset market participants on complex Swiss and cross-border regulatory matters. As a partner at MLL Legal and co-head of the Regulatory, Fintech & DLT practice, he focuses on banking, securities, financial services and payments regulation, as well as the legal structuring of next-generation financial infrastructure, including tokenisation and digital assets. His work spans high-impact, cross-border projects, structuring regulated financial business models and platforms, designing and launching financial products and services, navigating complex regulatory frameworks and FINMA interactions, and advising on the intersection between traditional finance and blockchain-based systems. He advises leading international banks, payment institutions, asset managers and financial market infrastructure providers across Europe, the United States, Asia and the Middle East, and is recognised for his work on digital asset and tokenisation projects that bridge traditional financial markets with emerging technologies.

Beyond his legal practice, Reto serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of MLL Legal and acts as the firm's AML Officer. He is CEO of SRO SVIG, a FINMA-recognised self-regulatory organisation, and a board member of the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC). He regularly publishes and speaks on financial market regulation, regulatory developments and the evolution of financial infrastructure, bringing deep regulatory expertise together with a strategic, solution-oriented perspective tailored to complex, cross-border business models.
